Today is a sad day for us all,He was the Maestro, Il Divo, the greatest opera star and will now be singing together with the angels, soprano Maria Callas and tenor Enrico Caruso....
He was a great performer and will be Remembered !
He had the charisma and brought music to everybody. His charisma also enabled him to burst through the barricades of taste, class, repertoire and media that separate classical music from pop and rock music.
Pavarotti was a great opera star,
but first and foremost for us a great star!
The Three Tenors and colleagues, Domingo or José Carreras is now only two..... Pavarotti died at his home in Modena, Italy, at 5 a.m. local time 2007-09-06, in a age of 71 years.
