He was the Maestro, Il Divo, the greatest opera star and will now be singing together with the angels, soprano Maria Callas and tenor Enrico Caruso....
He was a great performer and will be Remembered !
He had the charisma and brought music to everybody. His charisma also enabled him to burst through the barricades of taste, class, repertoire and media that separate classical music from pop and rock music.
Pavarotti was a great opera star,
but first and foremost for us a great star!
The Three Tenors and colleagues, Domingo or José Carreras is now only two..... Pavarotti died at his home in Modena, Italy, at 5 a.m. local time 2007-09-06, in a age of 71 years.

In the evening of the 5th of September was José Carreras on the stage together with Värmlandsoperans Sinfonietta conducted by David Giménez.
It was a lovely Open Air Concert with José Carreras, the brilliant tenor, and master from
Open Air Concerts is something special and I’m happy to be given the opportunity to take part in the event like this, only 5 minutes walk from home.
