Mermaids of Maupiti

Will start to upload some of my resized pictures on the blog, just to give you an idée of what you can find on the coral island of Maupiti.

For me is the small island part of my own restart of life and a new turning point after a long time of travel in Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. It’s much easier to find a perfect sushi in Vancouver or a spectacular and beautiful view up in The Rocky Mountains, but Maupiti and the people here, gave me something more and filled my hart with energy and hope for the future.

I will go back as soon as possible to refill my hart with love and kindness. My skin on my nose loves the atmosphere and the mermaids helping hand in the lagoon, when I’m floating in the sunny ocean.

Kind-hearted and lovely the mermaid is part of the sea. If you are totally open-minded, you maybe can become a friend...

Sockie

This is the owner of “Sockie”. Sockie is a beautiful black cat with white socks. The owner is looking lovely in the tiara and is smelling good like a Swedish Midsummer night...

The Flowers and flower decorations are rewards and part of the owner’s daily and very appreciated work. So that’s way I suppose that Sockie also loves flowers.

She is a friendly partner and my companion sharing my dinner table and bed. As a true "Holy Birma" she is very polite and always taking care of me. She is today an old lady at the age of 8 years.

A plate with Sill & Potatoes consist of: Herring, Dill, Créme Fraiche, Onion, and new picked Fresh Potatoes.

Sill & Potatoes is part of an old tradition in Sweden. It’s very delicious and normally combined with a snaps and lots of songs together with happy friends. A Swedish Midsummer without Sill & Potatoes on the table is not possible for a genuine Swede.

The Swedish Midsummer and the Midnight Sun is something special for all Vikings!
